This weekend we took our first Family trip to Florida. It was a 7 hour ride and Ashton did Great. We was kinda worried the trip would be hard for him in his car seat for so long but he sleep all the way there. Ashton enjoyed hisself well, he played in the sand and the water in the mornings when it wasn't so hot yet. But we enjoyed ourselfs, but are glad to be home.

Ashton will be 9 months old tomorrow and he is just growing like crazy. He has 1 tooth it is so precious, pulling up on everything he can get them lil hands on and crawling like crazy. It is absoultley amazing how fast he has grown. Feels like just yesterday we brought him home, kinda sad too... :( We could not ask for a better lil man...

Let's see... This mornin around 2:30am Me, Bryan and lil Man were off to the ER. Ashton had a fever of 103 when we arrived, Thankfully there was no-one there so we got right back. He weight 16 pounds at the ER, gettin to be a big boy. They did blood work, X-Ray, urine, rsv swab and a shot. The poor thing has Bronchitis, they got him on 2 types of meds to help it. We go for a check-up Monday with Dr White i hope by then he starts to feel better.
Other than being sick Ashton is growing like a weed. Every day he is learning something new, about two weeks ago we aced a big challenge for me and him Daycare.. Yikes I know. But he Loves It.....

3 Months Old

After shopping most of the day he passed out cute as a button!

Today is our first full day home. As of last Tuesday Ashton has been sick we went to his doctor just to discover he got fired and no one told us. We seen a nurse she only tested him for strep and it came back negative. On Wednesday we took him to the ACC then they sent us thru security to the emergency room where they tested Ashton for strep and RSV it also came back negitave. So Saturday Daddy and Nanny took lil man back to the ACC where another doctor seen him gave him a breathing treatment and said if he was not well in the mornin to bring him back. So we did, we got another treatment and the doctor thought it would be best to admit us. We got admitted after sitting at the ER around 1pm, they out a IV in his arm and sent us to a room. They gave Ashton breathing treatments every 4 hours, and that mornin they said we could go home with breathing treatments. Finally we made it home and are resting well. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, concerns and prayers.

Today, January 12th, Ashton had his one-month check up and a check up on his ear infection and RSV. All went well he is clear from it all. He was 10lbs 4oz and 21 1/2 inches long. Growing right on schedule for his age.

January 7th 2010, Ashton Dale Rubert is a month old, he is 9lbs 9oz. Ashton has changed so much since we brought him home. He holds his head up a little on his own, rolls over, smiles & loves bath time, more than we did at first, something new everyday we discovers.. On January 5th Ashton went to the doctor to see about a ear infetion at Dr. Myers office. He had a ear infection in his right ear and they tested him for rsv and it came back positive. So we are resting at home until we go for our check-up Tuesday!
